I'm holding off on installing the Windows SDK CTP based on Vista Feb 06 CTP onto a Windows XP computer as a development machine for WinFX learning and application testing, waiting in anticipation of and hopes for a newer Vista CTP and XP-installable Windows SDK pre-release.
But there hasn't been any new WinSDK CTPs lately and I don't want to wait for Vista Beta 2 when they resync and re-release the SDK preview.
What do you guys suggest? Bother with installation now and reinstall all in more than a month, or hold off?
I'm not at all in a hurry on this, but I'm quite curious and impatient about testing app compatibility and tinkering with WinFX development, and I'm equally nervous about the stability and completeness of February's release.
Thanks, Jon

Go now or wait? (WinSDK CTP)
You have no choice, the SDKs are not synced to work with interim releases, so its either the Feb CTP or BETA 2. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Andre is correct. The Windows SDK is working towards Beta 2 and won't have any interim builds of the SDK between Feb CTP and Beta 2.
